Gender Biases in Technological Innovation
This project investigates how gender biases in technology amplify digital violence against women in Talca, Maule Region, Chile. By identifying specific forms of violence and assessing technological biases, practical solutions will be developed to improve digital security, focusing on technical and design aspects.
VERITAS LAC
This project focuses on thoroughly understanding the risks associated with emerging technology. It proposes strategies to promote ethical awareness that promotes equity at the intersection between technology and society. It especially highlights the importance of considering gender implications at all stages of technological development.
Technological Resistances
This project investigates technological resistance in LAC. Analyzes the use of technology as a tool and its oppressive risks. Develops technological justice proposals to promote equity and digital autonomy, integrating principles of socio-environmental justice and forming collaborative networks and ethical public policies.
Digital Commons
This project investigates the impact of digital commons in Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on understanding the role of feminist digital commons and their influence in the fight for gender equality and social justice. Using an interdisciplinary approach, she deepens her understanding and relationship with local feminist movements.
Cybersecurity
This project is dedicated to strengthening cybersecurity in various organizations. It includes an exhaustive analysis of cyber threats and proposes a methodology for implementing open-source cybersecurity tools in Public Administration. Additionally, it provides practical resources to improve organizations' cybersecurity posture.
Cyberbullying
This project focuses on detecting cyberbullying on Twitter, specifically in Peruvian Spanish, by creating a dataset and evaluating four machine-learning models. It seeks to overcome the lack of studies focused on the linguistic particularities of LAC and provide results that contribute to developing more effective strategies to combat cyberbullying in the region.
